Our client approached us with the concept of developing a lodge with a multi-functional venue on private farmland in Paterson, Eastern Cape. As part of the initial phase of development and construction, we prioritized the planning of the venue and general ablution blocks due to the client’s daughter’s desire to host her wedding on the farm. The venue needed to be versatile, allowing for a variety of events and seminars while also serving as a storage space as necessary. With awe-inspiring views of the surrounding lands, we designed the venue to open up to nature and the landscape, with a focus on creating spaces that celebrate the views and natural elements.
